‘N Sync singer Lance Bass, husband Michael Turchin welcome twins

Singer Lance Bass and artist Michael Turchin have welcomed twins via a surrogate, the former ‘N Sync star announced Tuesday.

According to People magazine and E! News, Bass, 42, took to Instagram on Thursday to say the twins, Violet Betty and Alexander James, were born Wednesday afternoon.

“The baby dragons have arrived!!” the first-time father captioned photos of the newborns’ birth certificates. “I cannot express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!”

In June, Bass and the 34-year-old Turchin, who have been married since 2014, posted a mock horror movie trailer teasing the news that they were expecting twins. The video, which featured the sound of crying babies and an eerie silhouette of two children, ended with the words: “‘Two Buns in the Oven.’ Coming soon.”

The couple previously told People that they have faced several challenges in their attempts to become parents through in vitro fertilization and surrogacy, including a previous miscarriage.

“Because of what we’ve been through the last four years, we were very cautious to get excited,” Bass said at the time.

The pair said they are looking forward to seeing “holidays through the eyes of a child” and going to Disney.
